The Northeast
Regional Planning Organization (NERPO) is an interactive planning forum
that was established by the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT)
as a means to develop an on-going cooperative planning process to identify
current and future transportation needs, plans, and projects in the RPO.
The NMDOT uses this forum
to bring out informed recommendations for multimodal transportation and
enhancement projects in order to promote and implement an efficient transportation
network within the seven northeastern counties of Colfax, Guadalupe, Harding,
Mora, Quay, San Miguel, and Union.
North Central New Mexico
Economic Development District (NCNMEDD) and Eastern Plains Council of
Governments (EPCOG) provide two planners that work collaboratively to
serve the Northeast Regional Planning Organization. |
